How to choose a pool
Three things decide it: the size of the garden, the depth you want to swim in and how it goes in. An above-ground pool takes an afternoon; an in-ground one is an investment for decades. We will advise on the construction, the filtration and the enclosure.
Lawn care
Scarify and feed in spring, mow weekly through the season and cut low one last time in autumn. For lawns over 500 m² a ride-on or a robot mower earns its keep.
Looking after pool water
The basics are a steady pH of 7.0–7.4, continuous disinfection and at least 8 hours of filtration a day in season. A starter chemical kit will see an ordinary pool through the summer.
