What does a heat pump cost for an average house?
The list price for a 6 kW installation starts at around 285,000 CZK including VAT. After the NZÚ grant the final cost can come in under 150,000 CZK.

How long before it pays for itself?
For a heat pump, typically 6–8 years; for a heat pump and array together, 4–6. We work out the exact figure in the proposal.
How long does the NZÚ grant take?
The application goes in within 2 weeks of signing. The SFŽP usually decides within 3 months, and the grant is paid within 6 months of the work being done.
Can I have solar PV without a battery?
Yes, but you sell the surplus to the grid at a lower price. A battery lifts self-sufficiency from around 30 % to 70–80 %.
Will a heat pump still heat at −25 °C?
Yes. Our EcoTherm Air range is rated down to −27 °C. In extreme cold an electric element kicks in for short-term support.
Will the cabling be visible on the roof?
No. All cabling runs under the roof covering or inside trunking. How it looks is part of the brief.
Do I need a three-phase supply?
For heat pumps over 8 kW, yes. For arrays over 10 kWp, also yes. A single-phase supply will handle smaller systems.
What happens in a power cut?
A standard array shuts down — the grid operator requires it. Our hybrid system, with a battery and a UPS module, can run off-grid for several hours.
How often does it need servicing?
One preventive inspection a year. Remote monitoring picks up problems automatically, so you do not have to watch for them.
Can I sell the system with the house?
Yes — transferring the system is part of the sale contract. The new owner takes on the remaining warranty and service agreement.
